7 Fashion Classics That Should Not Be Missing In Any Wardrobe

7 fashion classics that should not be missing in any wardrobe : You always ask me in which parts it is worth investing. Which pieces I appreciate the most in my closet and what you still have something fashionably after years. This is exactly what today’s blog post is about: Here are 7 fashion classics that should not be missing in any wardrobe! Which part of your wardrobe can’t you do without?

The button down shirt

Which item of clothing is most often in my wardrobe? Clearly white shirts and blouses. I have at least 15 pieces on the hangers and I especially love their versatility. The button down shirt is a real classic with which you never do anything wrong. The characteristic of this is the collar, which is fastened with two buttons at the bottom of the collar.

The chinos

The chinos have been around for decades and Americans in particular love the cozy trousers. I still remember when it was THE fashion trend for men a few years ago. Patrick loved them and carried them up and down. As you know, I personally prefer to wear cloth trousers rather than jeans. My favorite chino is in classic beige and not only fits perfectly in my wardrobe, but can also be styled with any other color. Current models go to the ankles and are cut for us women figure-hugging.

The polo shirt

The success story of the polo shirt started in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century. Polo players wore light, hip-length jerseys made of cotton due to the warm, subtropical climate. The polo shirt later spilled over to Europe, where it was quickly integrated into tennis. From then on, it made its way and, over the years, became a bestseller as a leisure shirt and shirt replacement. The polo shirt has never lost its sporty (slightly elitist) image. But it doesn’t have to! Today you can find the polo shirt on the tennis court, on polo fields and on the streets of the world – they are a fashion classic. And what is characteristic of the polo shirt? Ribbed collar, short sleeves with a slightly ribbed and elastic cuff.

The college jacket

Do you remember all the high school teen films in which the coolest boys of the year always wore their casual collage jackets through the school corridors? I thought to myself;) The sporty jackets belong to casual style as well as cool sneakers. Gant releases a new model for women and men every year. My model you see above is actually from the men’s collection this year. I love the colors and the mix of styles that you can create with the jacket. I wear high espadrilles, tight pants and a yellow blouse from Gant as a splash of color.

The tailored short blazer

Blazers in my closet are almost as often represented as white blouses and shirts. The cuts range from long blazers to oversize models and waisted shorter models. In terms of color, you never do anything wrong with timeless colors such as black, dark blue or beige. My model above has a structured fabric, contrasting buttons and patch pockets – all elements that make a blazer exciting.

The stripe shirt

The perfect mix of eye-catcher and cozy basic? A stripe shirt! The Heavy Rugger by Gant is a real classic and looks best with jeans and sneakers. In terms of color, you can of course vary according to taste. In addition to my red / pink, the shirt is also available in other colors.

The Cable Knit Sweater

Last but not least: knitted sweater! Now in the cold season, warm and beautiful sweaters are essential in every wardrobe. One type that is worn up and down every year is the so-called “Cable Knit” pullover, also known as a pullover with cable pattern. If you like it classic, wear it in dark blue or cream 🙂 Here it is definitely worth investing in a high-quality model like from Gant, because you can really get this type of sweater out of your closet every year.
