Asus Announced new 13-inch VivoBook S300 Notebook : Asus’s mid-range VivoBook series has already have a 11.6 inches and 14 inches notebooks and now ASUS has announced the new 13.3-inch model.
Asus VivoBook S300 came into being, it is a weight of 3.9 pounds (about 1.77 kilograms) of the notebook, and 0.8 inches thick (about 2 cm). It has a lot of characteristics of ultra-extreme, but it is likely over most of this to be much cheaper than any one of Asus in the sale.
Since the ASUS sales over most of this has been in the high-end “Zenbook” series, these notebooks have relatively high starting price. But VivoBook family situation is different, VivoBook S300 not only Core i7 Ivy Bridge central processor and Windows 8 Pro with models option, there is a low-cost low with Celeron or Pentium chip models. These notebook factory configuration are hard, but not Zenbook series SSD.
However ViboBook there is one thing that is the most high-priced Zenbook do not have, that is the touch screen.
ASUS VivoBook S300 has a 44Whr battery, VGA interfaces, two USB 2.0 interfaces, a USB 3.0 interface, HDMI and audio jack. The optional central processor configuration includes: Intel Celeron 847 ULV, Intel Pentium 987 ULV Intel Core i3-2365U, Intel Core i3-3217U, Intel Core i5-3317U, Intel Core i7-3517U.
All models are equipped with 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet, an SD card reader, 2GB to 4GB graphics and 320GB or 500GB hard drive selection. The 13.3-inch notebook display pixels to 1366 x 768, unlike the Asus Zenbook ultra-extreme with 1600 * 900 or 1920 * 1080 pixel display.
Currently, ASUS did not disclose any of this model price or release date information, but you can buy the 11.6-inch model in the United States, the price of 499 dollars, so I expected the 13.3-inch model The price will not be high too.
