I will update the Christmas gifts shop for you every day and fill it with new products and ideas.

The wool coat

One of my favorite coat models for autumn and winter is definitely wool coats in all possible variations and colors. I already have some in my closet and I feel like I add one or two more every year. If you like it classic, choose a camel coat (see below), but there are also many other great wool coats. This year, for example, checkered models in shades of brown, gray or red are very popular . But of course, classic black wool coats are also possible . Here you can definitely spend a little more money, as they are timeless classics that can be pulled out of the closet every year without any thanks.

The camel coat

As already indicated above, camel coats (beige coats) are real must-have items of clothing in autumn and winter. For autumn I recommend a casual trench coat in beige. For winter, however, it can of course be a little thicker and warmer. Particularly popular this year? Camel coats with waist belt. So you can conjure up more silhouette within a few seconds and at the same time still have a beautiful accessory in look. If you want to be on the safe side, invest in a model with a simple button panel. For whom it can be a little more “unusual”, look best for double-breasted models.

The quilted jacket

Thick, bulky but unfortunately with the warmest – quilted jackets. Granted, these jacket models can be a real challenge and often look anything but stylish. Here you have exactly two options: Either you rely on a super simple model in black, gray or dark blue and quasi resign yourself to the fact that in most cases your outfits with this jacket will simply look warm and not particularly stylish. Which is absolutely okay, because you don’t have to be stylish in every situation. The second option is to buy a quilted jacket that has a striking pattern or a special color. In other words, you go for it all and consciously create an eye-catcher with your quilted jacket. How that can look like you see above. I wear a wintry pastel look from a pants suit and quilted jacket. At first glance, definitely a somewhat unusual combination, which is quite portable and looks cool

The cape

Only recently did a reader ask me: Nina, what kind of jackets do you actually wear in winter when you have thick knitted sweaters on? My answer: either just the sweater with a thick scarf or capes. The practical thing about capes is that they are always loose and loose cut. In other words, you can wear thick and warm wool sweaters under capes without any problems. Due to the missing sleeves you always have a lot of freedom of movement, which is extremely pleasant in winter with all the layers and layering looks. If you like oversize cuts, go for “normal” capes. However, there are also many capes with waist belts or buttons this year, so that the cape gets a light coat look. It’s up to you

The teddy coat & the lambskin jacket

Teddy coats and lambskin jackets are definitely super warm. Another advantage? The jackets and coats also look incredibly cozy and cute. Last winter there was a big teddy coat hype in the fashion world – back then triggered by the label Max Mara. I have also bought myself a teddy coat in the last year, which I will certainly wear up and down again in the coming weeks. The best? The trend is more than present again this year, so there are many new models in the online shops. I have linked my personal favorites to you below.

The duffle coat

Duffle coats are at least as classic as a camel coat. A duffle coat is characterized by the fact that it is usually three-quarters long and made of heavy wool. In addition, it always has a hood and a single-row button placket with so-called toggle closures made of wood or horn. Incidentally, the duffle coat is particularly well known in France and England. But also in Germany it has become a real classic coat in recent years. For me it is the perfect mix of elegant (thanks to the material) and sporty (thanks to the hood). Unfortunately I don’t have one myself, so I might look around for a suitable model for myself

The parka

Always wearable, practical, sporty and warm – the parka has just about everything you could want in your winter jacket. No wonder that the parka is the best-seller among winter jackets every year. If you like it very classic, buy a medium-length model with a fur hood (there are also countless models with super high-quality fake fur) in khaki or black. For whom it may be a little more unusual, there are also models with patterns, in pastel colors or special materials.
