Warm Winter Jackets & Coats

Friends, autumn is here and with it the jacket and coat time! And because some of you have asked for a post with the most beautiful models and relevant trends in this area again this year, here is my matching post And so much to be said: This season we are once again spoiled for choice and can choose between long super coats, fluffy teddy coats, cool biker jackets or casual parkas. I have summarized my favorites and the most important jacket trends below. Happy Fall Season.

Fake fur

This kind of jackets and coats split people’s minds, because hardly any other winter jacket attracts as much attention as fake fur. I have this colorful specimen (see above) in my closet and, to be honest, it costs me every time a bit of an effort to attract her – simply because she is such an eye-catcher. But I haven’t regretted the purchase to this day and I love this coat. This year I might get a more subtle version in brown.

parka

A real evergreen jacket! Parkas just go and can be worn every year. The casual coats look good with everything and keep you incredibly warm. If you want to rely on a real classic, it’s best to shop a model in khaki and with a (fur) hood. For those who are a little more “brave”, maybe try a model in a bright color, with a pattern or other special details.

Teddy & Shearling

The wolf in sheep’s clothing – you could be called something like that if you put on a cozy shearling jacket. I personally am a big fan of these types of jackets because they are incredibly cozy, warm and just always special. These jackets were already in high demand last year. The so-called “Teddy Coats” have been added this year, and their name definitely says it all. I’m already flirting with a model – so be excited

Wool coats

Another real classic and one of my favorite companions every year – the wool coat! Warm, cozy, fashionable and still a bit classic. I now have several different models in my closet and I am very well equipped in this area. The real classic is black or camel. If you like it a little “more exciting”, go for woolly winter jackets and coats with patterns or special details.

Cord

I already presented this trend to you in my trend week ( here ) and showed that you can wear cord in a variety of ways . Whether as trousers, skirt, shirt or just as a coat or jacket. Admittedly, these should not be for the really cold days (unless they are thickly lined from the inside), but they are all the more suitable for autumn and the transition period.

Extra long coats

I love love love these types of coats! Admittedly, they are unfortunately not easy for everyone to carry, because they lengthen the body size very much. I am 1.68 m tall and even I sometimes have problems not looking like a broken meter. My tip: high shoes! Or just show your inner size and stand above things;) Because these coats are just too beautiful not to wear them!

Down

A trend that I have not yet dared to tackle personally – that also explains the missing picture;) The down has been back for a good 1 1/2 years and thankfully there are now some really stylish models. Particularly popular this year: winter jackets in colors such as red or orange, which give the rather dusty down a cool touch. If that’s too wild for you, shop a classic in navy or olive green.
